Reports in other languages are collected; English renderings are shown only where a translation with recorded provenance exists, otherwise marked “awaiting translation”.
Global Risk Map & Live Monitor
The Live Monitor surfaces new reports as they are collected; analysts verify them and publish incidents to the Global Risk Map at exact locations, where they are checked against everything you need to protect.

Cards stream into side-by-side regional columns. Each shows severity, location, freshness (breaking, late or resurfaced) and corroboration, so an analyst can decide in seconds.
The 44-second median comes from a 25-minute engineering test run of the collector; it is a measurement, not a service-level commitment. Under heavy load collection takes longer.
Feature demonstrations
Reports in other languages are collected; English renderings are shown only where a translation with recorded provenance exists, otherwise marked “awaiting translation”.
Similar reports are grouped and possible duplicates are checked before an incident is created.
Event time, not only posting time, is shown on every card so old news never looks like breaking news.
Exact address, coordinates or drawn area. City-level locations are refused.
News and social reports always go through analyst review and senior approval. Only approved authoritative sources may publish automatically.
Category-specific severity rules, with standard radii: Low 0.25 mi, Medium 0.5 mi, High 1 mi, Critical 5 mi.
Adjust the radius or draw the area; state, country and worldwide areas are supported.
Sites, employees by assigned worksite or home, and travelers at approved-trip lodging.
Review cycles for ongoing incidents; resolved incidents leave the map and stay searchable.
Fly to coordinates or a place. Street-address search requires a geocoding key and is in development.

Editor & approval
The incident editor pre-fills from the report, runs a duplicate check and previews client exposure. Senior analysts approve new incidents and changes side by side — never their own.

Asset exposure preview
Exposure is computed for each incident area against your sites, employees at their assigned worksite or home address, and travelers at their approved-trip hotel or a recent check-in. Highground does not track where employees physically are. The result is ready when the incident is published — and in preview while it is being created.
